Often referred to as ‘smoker’s lines’, small vertical lines appearing above and below the lips can form as a result of smoking, loss of collagen and elastin, gravity, loss of skin’s hydration and repeated mouth movements. As the ageing process continues, these can become deeper in appearance. We can use strategically placed dermal filler to ‘plump’ out these lines, giving a smoother, more youthful appearance.
